Welcome to our Winter 2004 newsletter.

In 2004, the Hmong Mission Society (HMS) has been blessed with many new works in the spreading of the Good News to the Hmong People in the United State and in Thailand.

HMS is also proud to announce the establishment of the Hmong Hymnal Project Committee. This committee will work toward collecting materials to create a new hymnal for the LCMS Hmong Ministry. HMS asks that you and your congregation keep this committee in your prayers and budget for your financial contribution. In addition, the Hmong Ministry sponsored its annual pastoral training for our Hmong pastors and their wives. The training took place in May of 2004 in Madison, Wisconsin. Please continue to keep all our pastors in your prayers.

As we look back to 2004, HMS has been busy with the annual conference, pastor meetings, Thailand Mission, and starting of new missions. We praise God’s name for these joys.

As we look forward to 2005, there are more works that need to be done. HMS will continue to support all the Hmong Ministries in North America and also in Thailand. As HMS continues to do God’s work, we ask that you continue to prayer for HMS in 2005.
