Introduction

 

1.                  Greetings and thank you remark…..Opening prayer.

 

2.                  Mission (Kev qhia losyog tshajtawm Txoj Moo Zoo) starts in the heart of God when He formed the world.  He knew people will turn against Him.  But He has a plan to save all the people.  His plan is to send Jesus to be our Savior.  He did send Jesus into the world to complete His plan of salvation for all people.

 

3.                  Through our faith in Jesus, you and I are part of that wonderful plan that God is asking us to spread the Gospel so that the non-believers come to faith and be saved from their sins.

 

4.                  The Hmong culture is changing.  Many are not Christian – still lost.  Some have become indifference toward religion.  Hmong are becoming smarter and it smart and hard working people to get them to Church, etc.  We need to reach out to these people with the Gospel because it is the Gospel alone can create faith and save people from their sins and the terrible punishment at the end time.

 

5.                  We cannot keep the faith to ourselves and says that everything is OK.  It’s not OK.  We need teach our people about evangelism, model it, live it and practice it.

 

6.                  We need commitment and faithful people to do evangelism.  Our job is not done until all people hear the Gospel.  We need someone to take the lead in any congregation.

 

7.                  Charles Spurgon said one time that, “If you do not wish others to be saved, then you yourself are not saved.”

 

8.                  ABLAZE – LCMS mission theme until 2017 – to reach out to 100,000,000 people worldwide.  One people, one message, one mission.

 

9.                  Hmong Ablaze:  2017 to increase the members in LCMS to 5,000 people.

 

10.              Doing evangelism is exciting and rewarding because it is a life saving work.  There is nothing better than to offer God’s eternal life plan for people.
