Vicar Noulang Yang

Vicar Yang was born in Xiengkhouang, Laos. His National Origin is Hmong, which means “free people”. He immigrated to Thailand, then to the United States.   He has two Associated degrees, one Bachelor of Science and a Juris Doctor degree in Law.

Vicar Yang  will serve as Minister to the Hmong members at St. Michael, Our Savior Lutheran and the Michigan District in addition to any other capacities as he is needed. He also served the North America Hmong Ministry: Counselor for Hmong Pastoral care, Secretary / Treasurer

LC-MS Hmong Hymnal Committee and Secretary for Hmong Ministry Conference and Representative for Hmong Mission Society.

Vicar Yang is currently enrolled in the St. Louis Concordia Seminary to begin his Pastoral training in the Ethnic Immigrant Institute of Theology (EIIT).
